Mirena coil - 16 day period argh!

I had my coil put in 2 months ago and I’ve had two, 16 day periods since, starting when I would have expected mine to start and finishing a day or so after ovulation. Help!!! How long does this go on for?! I used to have medium flow 5 day periods!

In my experience my bleeding completely stopped after about 4-5 months. It’s been SO worth it for me. I don’t even know when my time of the month would be now. I get a bit of light brown spotting for a day every now and then but that’s it.

Did it start how mine started?
