Has anyone taken Norethisterone contraception

Have been on Cerazette for 4 months & was forever spotting - which was driving me mad. I’ve been back to the gp & asked to try an alternative mini pill & they’ve given me Norethisterone - has anyone any experience on this? What were your side effects if any?

I’m not holding out much hope for no spotting with what I’ve ready online 🙁

I've been on it for 10 years. No spotting. No periods in all that time.

I had nasty cystic acne on cerazette, and asked to swap to a different type of POP and I've not regretted it.

No other side effects either.
