No high fertility on Clearblue, only peak

Can anyone shed any light or had a similar experience? … In the past before baby 1 and 2 I used to get several days (or occasionally one) of flashing smilies before the solid smiley that indicates peak fertility. One time I got only high and no peak. I’m 43 now and hoping for a third baby. I had my first at 40 and second at nearly 42. Is the change to only peak an indication of changing hormones? What does it mean for my fertility? Thank you in advance 🙏

This would suggest no lh surge as the flashing indicates an oestrogen increase but the static is the lh surge I think. Are your periods still regular which normally indicates ovulation has occurred.

Periods regular, 28 or 29 days. So do you think it means decreasing fertility?

No idea but might be worth getting checked out. Could you try doing your temp too that's a more accurate way to see if ovulation did actually occur. Maybe the tests just aren't right for you
