I'm so worried. I'm could really do with some advice please.
I take the mini pill (deostregen). Taken it for years and have no periods.
I take it every evening at 6pm. Except for last Thursday when I was out and late taking it so took it at approx 7.30/8.00pm.
Then I bloody forgot to take it Friday evening. Had unprotected sex around 8am Sat morning. Had an absolute panic when I saw my pill still in the packet. I took my missed pill at 8.40am.
I took the MAP at approx 10am Sat morning. I'm obese and the pharmacist gave me 2x levonelle (?).
I'm too scared to test and it'll be too early I'm sure. What the hell do I do if I've been caught pregnant? I've got 2 older teenagers and have zero desire to have a third. I'm so bloody worried.

You should be fine. This pill can be taken up to 12 hours late if forgotten so you've doubled up with the MAP. Id try not to worry.

This is what's confusing me. I always take it at 6pm so in theory 6pm Thursday would be 6pm Friday. Only I took at at 7.30pm (Thursday) so does this mean 7.30pm Friday? Or will it be 6pm Friday. I literally can't think straight. Thanks for replying.

You should be fine. Test 3w after this all happened and be glad you live in a country with abortion essentially on demand.

Id take it as 7.30am Saturday as the 12 hours late, the 40 minutes won't make much of a difference. Did you take your normal dose on Saturday at 6pm ? Id honestly try not to worry, chances are slim after missing just 1.

Thanks. I'm very glad and very grateful for our NHS. Out of interest (and worry!) what makes you think it'll be fine? I just can't seem to think straight or properly.

I honestly wouldn’t be worried in your situation, you took the MAP 2 hours after you had sex and you’d only missed 1 pill so although not impossible it’s not likely that was enough of a gap for you to ovulate- even if you had, taking MAP 2 hours later means it’s as effective as it could possibly be.

Thank you. Logically I'm sure it's ok. But it's too soon to test and I'm constantly thinking about it.
I know the mini pill stops ovulation. So hopefully there wouldn't have been enough time would there?!
Thank you.
