Trafford housing (council housing) advice please?

Hi, I am currently on the Trafford (HOST) housing waiting list. I am have been down on the list since 2020 but only started to actively bid now. I am in bang 2 and my rank is somewhere between 40-25 on my bids.
I know times are hard for a lot right now but I am cooped up in my mum and dad’s box room with my 2 kids. I am sleeping on the floor. I am down as over crowded but band 2. I have refused b&bs because it’s just not an option to take my kids there I’d rather be on the floor and let them sleep in the bed/cot and be safe.
I am in the Trafford area and I just wanted to ask, does anyone think I am far off? I got quotes to have somewhere “by spring” but honestly is this even likely with them rankings?

(Housing did advise me spring, another lady did from a different service but works with getting people homes within Trafford in the council).

my situation is:

single mother with 2 children and I work full time.

thanks guys.

I've got no experience of social housing lists sorry @twentytwentyfour2024

Did you know that you've posted in the Family Planning (Contraception) Section?

You might get more responses if you ask @MNHQ to move this over to Chat. You can do this by reporting your own post and asking them to move if.
