I am in a same sex female couple and we are thinking about starting a family via embryo freezing and transfer IVF, carrying each others egg with donor sperm. Can't decide whether to do this in London or Lisbon. Wondering if it feels safe and easy abroad or if the language barrier and being away from home and having to fly is stressful? The money saving aspect is appealing but not essential.
We are also considering moving to Ericiera for a few years either before or after the baby is born. Wondering what it is like to live there/visa application process (we are self employed)/if there is a queer community there/what it is like for young families.
Any advice on anyone with either experience would be great
