Hi I’ve just been given a progesterone contraceptive injection. Reading the leaflet it says it causes weight gain in some people. The nurse didn’t mention this and now I’m a bit worried. Is anyone on it and what are your experiences in relation to weight? Any medical professionals out there- is it common to gain weight ? The injection leaflet says it is Depo-Provera ( Medroxyprogesterone acetate.
