Living situation - kids or no kids?!?!

Hi,

So I'm new here, didn't quite know where else to reach out so wondered if anyone could help.

I'm in the UK, I've been with my partner for 12 years this October. We're 27, engaged and had moved out. Unfortunately, the cost of living as well as a motor bike accident meant we had to move back in with my parents. We were really hoping to have started a family or at least start trying for a baby soon (before we realised we would have to move out of our flat)

There's my sister and her partner, my mum and dad and then my partner and I living in the house but I still can't shift the want for a baby.

Would you say the living set up should mean a no go for having a baby? Any tips on maybe how to approach the council for assistance (we both work full time and have never claimed for anything before).
Any examples from anyone who has been in a similar situation would be greatly appreciated. My parents would be supportive but obviously society tells you that you need to be married, have brought a house etc before you have a baby and we are far from that situation at the moment.

Thanks everyone ❤️ xx
