Took morning after pill, bled, but concerned pregnant? Pls help!

Hi there - just after some advice or whether someone has gone through this before, or known someone who has. I took the morning after pill - levonelle - approx 36 hours after unprotected sex (condom broke). I already have 2 children with my husband (ages 3 & 5), and definitely not wanting anymore... well not at the moment anyway! This was on 20 July, and 5 days after that I started to bleed bright red blood - heavyish - for about 3 days. The last 3 days I have felt just like I did when I was pregnant with both of mine. I know I can't do a test now as it's too early and wouldn't be accurate... but what I want to know is has anyone ever experienced bleeding after levonelle and then found out they've been pregnant?? TIA x

Hi op, how long are your normal cycles? If you got pregnant on the 20th of July (15 days ago? ) then it would be likely to show up on a pregnancy test (pregnancy tests pick up pregnancy 14+days after conception) you don't need to wait a full month.

Hi, so my cycle is about 21 days normally. To be honest things have been a little messed up because it took ages for the depo injection to get out of my system. I had not long been off a period when we had unprotected sex. Thing is, apparently I conceived my second child a few days after my period had ended. I did actually take a test today and it was negative x

When I took the MAP I didn’t have bleeding but had exceptionally tender breasts for a couple weeks before my period, then a very heavy period.

Have you calculated when you ovulated as the MAP isn’t effective if you’ve already ovulated.

I wouldn't have ovulated yet (supposedly). I had been off my period 3 days or so before we had sex, then levonelle 36 hours after that. My cycle can be irregular, but I do track my periods so according to that I wasn't due to ovulate then. Could just be ovulation symptoms/period...
I do get a lot of pain and other physical symptoms with those, but past 3 days have had awful joint pain, headaches, unusual fatigue, heartburn - have only ever had these early pregnancy. If I hadn't had that random 3 day bleed I would be more worried re pregnancy, but just wondering if anyone has bled after levonelle but still found out they're pregnant?
