Hi, I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and has got any advice about what I should do?
I haven't been on any form of contraception for around 5/6 years. I started the Dretine (same as Yasmin) combined pill on the first day of my last period which was 2 weeks ago. I had my normal 7 day bleed but then it has continued solidly since. Over the past 2 days it's become very light so I'm hoping that things are settling down. My question is, do I have the normal 7 day break, which would start next week? Or should I take two packs back-to-back? I don't know if I can face another few weeks of bleeding 😩 I've got a new partner (hence starting the pill) and things are heading towards starting to sleep together so would love if things settled down pretty soon.
