My main question is, how long after taking it did you find out you were still pregnant and how did you know? Did it show up positive in pregnancy tests?
Bit of background to why I ask. (I know I sound paranoid here)
So I took the MAP at the end of April after a condom split, this is the first time this has happened as I'm usually always so careful so this was the first time I have took it so didn't know what to expect.
I took it about an hour or so after the incident.
A few weeks after this my body starts to feel so strange (bloating, abdominal pain) I take a test and it shows negative. Then my period comes at expected time, but is so so light and lasts only 2 days max. This panicked me so took another test- again negative.
I'm still bloated, having abdominal pain and cramping constantly and my periods every month have been light and only lasting 2 days.
I have now taken about 5 tests- all showing negative (last one I took was about 3 weeks ago so surely I should believe this)
My paranoia stems from hearing of the horror stories of the MAP not working for some people. Also I have recently found out that those classed as "overweight" should take 2, in classes as overweight but was only recommended to take 1.
Am I being super paranoid due to having so many negative tests (also stressing I could be one of this people who never get positive tests)
Or could there still be a chance it hasn't worked.
Sorry about my stressful rant but I just want to know if postive tests were shown for this who it failed for.
Thank you in advance. I really need my mind putting at ease!
