Could I be or was monthly early and short

we have been trying for a baby for a while and I came off my pill about 2 years ago
I track my monthlys and ovulation using flo took a while for monthlys to become normal but now they are always on time
We haven't been TTC for a while due to our working patterns etc and last time was new year till about 2 weeks ago.
I was meant to start my monthly yesterday but noticed on Saturday there in the evening had spotting was like pink then Sunday and most of Monday was still spotting (little more than Saturday) by Monday night nothing and have had no proper period as I say was meant to start yesterday and nothing
Could i be pregnant or was this a really short early period?

That was my implantation bleed...

I'm so wanting to test but I'm nervous incase I'm not and its just a short period how long should I wait?
I have a child already 16 but I never used a pregnancy test how I found about her was I was put off certain food and happed to see a doc about it and they did a test then
Just weird how it all happend sat night light spotting was like watery pinkish then a little more on the Sunday and Monday then nothing by Monday night and no sign of period

Was a little confused as if it was my period was really early and really short
