This devil stick is making me genuinely suicidal.
Bleeding for 6 months straight.
Recurrent thrush.
Tried taking it out myself but it’s impossible without 2 hands.
Gps said it needs to come out.
Gp said I need to wait another month, just because. Not because of the whole covid shituation. Just because.
Sexual health clinic won’t help. Told me I need a clap test.

I’m at a complete loss 😭😭😭

Devil stick? what are you on about?

sanityisamyth · 13/05/2020 13:48

I'm presuming the implant?

LockedInMadness · 13/05/2020 14:04
Confused
Bubblemonkey · 13/05/2020 14:04

Implant. The bastard which has made me bleed for 6 solid months

Oh ok. Why can't the GP do it now?

Bubblemonkey · 13/05/2020 14:07

Your guess is as good as mine @LockedInMadness... especially when she’s putting them in.

I had the devil stick 🤣 in 3 years ago. It made me bleed solidly for about 8 months before I jest boomed in to have it out It drove me mad.

*Booked

Biancadelrioisback · 13/05/2020 14:19

Same happened to me. I threatened to remove it myself and I manage to get an appointment the next day

Thedot90 · 13/05/2020 14:33

If you are not high risk (young, non smoker, not obese) then you can use contraceptive pills on top of the “devil stick” (haha!) to control your bleeding until you are able to have it removed - chat to GP XX

Talulahoopla · 26/05/2020 22:33

Omg this was me. So frustrating that the doctor dismissed the claims about thrush. Didn't have the problem before the implant or after it now it's gone. Kept telling me to stick it out and it'll settle down. I eventually ignored the gp and went to Sandyford. No problem, out within minutes and felt better almost immediately. Go with your instincts and get it out. I waited nearly two years and was the worst of my life. Shouldn't have given it two months!

Bubblemonkey · 27/05/2020 01:28

It’s evicted Grin bled for 12 days after having it removed but here’s to getting back to normality Smile
