Period? To loose this amount of blood!??

Hey, I have been having a few problems with my periods it stopped for quite a while 6months or so earlier this year, I put this down to stress and my gp gave me the pill to try and kick start them, she gave me microgynon 30, I started taking this at the beginning of December, I have all of a sudden started to bleed quite heavily, soaking through and leaking from a super plus tampon after 1.5hrs, loosing small clots when I stand up , I wondered if I haven’t had a period for 6 months or so do I get that 6 months worth of bleeding now I have started a period? Sorry if that sounds stupid! Thanks in advance

What you're describing is my norm, every month.
Fed up of it, been like this as clockwork since being sterilised almost 7 years ago.

Oh gosh I feel for you, My tummy is in agony they were never this bad but I completely sympathise if this is what you go through each month! X

Has the bleeding stopped? I was put on cerazette and experiencing the same thing for 3 weeks now 😞
