Nuvaring for menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding..???

Hey all.

Was wondering for some advice, since I moved to Spain, I have come across many people recommending the Nuvaring.

I have suffered all my life with heavy periods and such severe pain that I lose at least two days per month from being bedridden from it. My GP in the UK did try to fit the Mirena coil, but was unsuccessful.

Can anyone please shed some light in if the Nuvaring will help calm the bleeding and pain I get each month?

I'm thinking to go to the chemist today to get one...TIA
