Hi all, i have had the marina coil for 14 months now, the first few months were painful and i bled a lot but then it stopped and i havent really had periods since, only light spotting here and there. Although for about a week i have had a really sore vagina sorry tmi, it has been sore itchy and swollen and about 3 days ago i had severe cramps on my right side i was in agony to the point of not being able to move for a few hours, then i started getting brown discharge and clots & stringy brown discharge, last night i had some fresh red blood throughout the night but this morning it is just bits of brown discharge. I no longer have cramps but still sore. If it continues i will see GP. Anyone else have this? I am thinking i may have an infection, i have used thrush cream but not helping.
