Did you feel any different afterwards?

I had one during a C section 12 months ago and since then I have had barely any sex drive. I have also felt quite emotionally 'numb'.

I'm not sure whether to see a gp about this because I am also dealing with a baby that doesn't sleep so I've been very sleep deprived for a year - I imagine this would also affect sex drive. Also I'm still breastfeeding.

Just wondered if anyone had a similar experience.

No experience with tubal litigation, but I did breastfeed for 2 years and had nil sex drive the whole time. That combined with poor sleep could be your main issue?

I would blame the breastfeeding, personally. Mother nature's way of spacing out the babies - hormones involved in milk production suppressing sex drive sounds like something I read somewhere!

Another one to say that breastfeeding my two until they were 2, combined with little sleep, made me basically into a zombie with a head full of cotton wool. Even now if I have a bad night with little sleep, I feel like that again the next day and remember how it felt for years with a breastfeeding baby. I would point the finger at lack of sleep/nursing before the tubal ligation.
