Hi, just wondered if anyone else has the same as it’s really starting to annoy me!

Had the copper coil nearly 1 year and had no issues untill the past 3months. I have a normal periods lasting 5/6 days... stop.. then a couple of days after I then start having watery blood that continues for ages!!! To the point I have about 1 week (days put together) where I’m not ruining my underwear from unexpected bleeding.
Dr has done all checks and everything is fine and said the coil doesn’t cause random bleeding so have got another appointment with her in 2 weeks.
So annoying especially as going on holiday in 7 weeks time and I do not want to be bleeding!!!😤 x

The coil does cause random bleeding. If it’s still that bad it probably won’t settle In my experience. I bled constantly and nothing helped. Maybe get a second opinion or go to a family planning clinic. The family planning clinic told me it’s really common on the copper coil, good luck!
