I'm 6 weeks post partum and rather stupidly had unprotected sex yesterday.
Pre pregnancy I was on the pill for 10+ years so to be honest I just didn't think of protection "in the moment". Plus my mind was on my bits which have just recovered from being cut during the birth. It wasn't until DP was "in and going" so to speak before we both realised the situation we'd got into. We stopped and put a condom on. Turns out DP didn't cum anyway as my scar area got too sore to continue but aware that sperm can be in pre cum so I've ordered emergency contraception - it was through Lloyd's online so didn't actually see a GP.
Has anyone used emergency contraception so soon after birth? Any experiences with ellaOne?
I've never used emergency contraception before, and DD is my first baby so everything is new.
