Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone out there has had a bad experience with the copper coil, and successfully switched to the Mirena? I've had the copper coil for a year, but after 10 months of 2 week coming periods every 4 weeks I got fed up, and asked the Drs for the pill to better control my periods, after being on the pill for a week, my period started, and I'm now 4 weeks in! I've stopped taking the pill, and the nurse has suggested I switch to the Mirena coil.....anyone else been in a similar situation?
