Mirena coil - worried I might be pregnant.

First off, I've done a test and it's negative.

Okay so I will have had the mirena coil for 5 years in November. I asked for it out a year ago as i felt it was not working like it used to. The first three years I had no periods, never suspected pregnancy etc, it was great.

Last year I began to have periods again. At first there was no pattern to them but in the last six months they have settled into a 24 day cycle give or take a day either side.

They haven't been able to remove my coil because they couldn't see strings, I had an ultrasound and my coil is where it should be, I'm now waiting on an appointment with gynae for removal.

So I had a period on the 21st august. I've had increasingly painful breasts for nearly two weeks now.

Sorry posted too early.

I've had 4dc and this breast pain was always my very first symptom. In theory I am late as well. Test shows negative. I don't know what to do, just keep waiting and see if I come on?

This is exactly where I am at the moment,, I’ve had a Mirena coil in for 5 years,, had it removed and another put straight in,, this one is now due to be removed in early jan,, so it is quite close to the end of its life.. missed period and two tests later, both negative, very light bleed,, only when I wipe, nothing else otherwise,, this went on for two days and nothing since.. I have sore boobs and slight tummy cramping also over emotional over silly things that wouldn’t normally bother me,, debating if a third test should be done :(
