Can you take a 4 day pill break instead of 7?

According to a family planning consultant she said either 4 day or 7 (not 5/6). I know you can run packs together but does anyone take a break of just 4 days?

You don't have to take a break at all. It's a fabricated concept from when the pill was first developed and was supposed to make women feel womenly.

Yeah agreed, you can just run them together there's no medical reason to have any break at all

But you can't run them incessantly otherwise they'll be breakthrough bleeding?

Not necessarily. If you are getting breakthrough bleeding, it may be that the hormones aren't enough or the right ones. Sometimes it takes a few months to settle in.
