15 weeks PP, Copper coil fitted 8 weeks ago, but BARELY NO PERIODS!

I'm not 15 weeks PP, had a C section, bled medium amounts for 4 weeks, nothing for a week then a light bleed for a week, nothing, then period a week later which was light and lasted for 3 days. Then had the copper coil fitted and was warned to expect nightmare periods, heavy and painful... 3 weeks later what I assume is my period came around but was lighter than the periods I had BEFORE pregnancy! Barely filled two pads (sorry for TMI) and now 3 weeks later I'm into the 1st day of what I think is my period again but again I'm barley bleeding! I always had irregular periods before getting pregnant. 2 weeks ago I had the coil checked and the woman quickly examined me and said she could see the threads so it was probably fine but after these barely there periods I'm wondering what's going on? Surely it can't be right if most other people are bleeding like shark week!!

As breastfeeding can affect your cycles. You could ask to see your GP if you're worried?

No not breast feeding. I could phone the clinic that fitted it I guess just for some peace of mind.

I was told that it may make your periods heavier or more painful if you had heavy periods to begin with but if not then should be ok. It's never a given though. Be pleased!
