Mirena coil No periods for 9 years

Hi I am 38 years old and am on my 2nd mirena coil. I have had no bleeding whatsoever in the 9 years until last week had spotting for about 5 days. It was brown in colour. Is this normal? Anybody got any ideas as to what is going on
