Anyone switched from the combined pill to the implant?

I just wanted to see everyone's experience if you were on the combined pill and switched to the implant. Was there much difference in side effects? Did you have more bleeding when you changed to the implant?

I've been on the pill for 6 years, no problems at all but I'm getting terrible at remembering to take it.

Yes. Bled heavily and non-stop with the implant. Horrible.

Did it eventually settle or did you get it taken out?

I dont get any periods with the implant. Had it on and off for 8 years.

Doc told me to keep it in for 9months to see. Bled the entire time. Had to have it taken out.
