first period in ten years - TMI

After 9 years on depo injections and 1 year of having the nexplanon I got my period yesterday. It's really dark in colour and has a really strong metallic odour. There's been a few lumpy bits. I'm not sure if this is normal. I always had heavy periods as a teenager but this one seems really strange. Wondering if it's normal or perhaps I've just forgotten what a joy they are
