Implant - Light Bleeding/spotting after sex.

So I've been on the implant for around 6months, minimal problems so far. Bled for a short while a week after having it fitted but not much else since, no regular periods, odd spot now and then in random places on my body, bit of thrush. I've read stories of people bleeding constantly on it so I'm one of the lucky ones I think.

Recently though every time me and DP have sex, I then lightly bleed/spot for 2/3 days afterwards - usually a browny colour, sometimes with very light cramping on and off. Just wondering if this is normal on the implant?

Please book and get checked. Bleeding after intercourse is always treated as suspicious. It may well just be 'normal' for you (don't want to worry you) but you need to check.

It can take up to 6mths for bleeding to settle with implanon and it may be just that since you had it just for that time.
