I've lost about 50% of my hair since going on the damn thing. Luckily I have very thick hair so it's not noticeable (yet) but it's only been 4 months. I desperately want it out and I've read everything I can find on this, all saying hair loss doesn't slow down - it gets worse - and often kicks off again when you get it removed :(

Please can anyone calm me down and give me some positive stories? I'm properly freaking out here.

Plus I've had about a month solid of bleeding, which is doing my head in.

Also, does anyone know can I get it out and a copper one put in at the same time? I need to have something and the pill doesn't work (migraines) so I feel like I'm running out of options. I don't want a hormone treatment any more :( feels like nothing but trouble.

Help!!

Oh god! I've never had the Mirena, is that an American thing? But I would get it taken out. That doesn't sound healthy at all is the Mirena like a coil? If so what about the implant?
