Please can I hear everyone's experiences of cerazette?

Hi all, just wondering if any of you ladies have taken cerazette and how did you find it? Dr prescribed it to me yesterday. Thanks

After ds, took it for 5 months, great, no problems.
After dd, took it, seemed same but got really bad PND for 3 months. Until I read a MN thread that Cerazette could trigger PND. Stopped taking it and was fine within 48 hours.

So would take it but watch out for anxiety/depressive symptoms.

I have used cerazette twice. First time I thought I was fine, until I came off the pill and became a different person, more well-balanced less stressed etc, but thought I could handle the change back if I needed to use it again. I came off it not to conceive but because it gave me a cervical erosion that would get iritated after intercourse and bled.

I was not on it for one year then met my DH and we conceived DD. After DS I decided to go back on it again, and it turned me into a monster. Poor DH took the brunt of it, and I can only liken myself to my psycho female rabbit we used to have who was permanently aggressive/stressed out.

I came off it, and I am back to normal and DH is no longer considering to divorce me for unreasonable behaviour (only slightly tongue in cheek that part). I'm trying to convince DH to have the snip instead, as I cannot see why I should have to go through childbirth and years of putting hormones in me because he is scared of the operation. in the meantime I take really strong painkillers for PMT and use condoms.

I was on cerazette for around 2 years when I got pregnant with ds. Doctor said it couldn't happen but it did. I took every pill, same time and had no V&D. Was very shocked when I got my BFP and it seems to be quite common.

When on it I very rarely had a period maybe once every 6-7 months. I found that when that period was coming I was in agony, it made my period pains way worse and sometimes I couldn't walk with them.

Went onto it again after ds was born as I only wanted something short term, started it Oct 2012 and came off last June, BFP in July so no problems that way.

After this baby I'll be requesting something else.

I have been on it since July so now into my month of bleeding or spotted continuously and getting fed up with it tbh. My mood is better, no pmt etc which is great! I am hoping it will stop! Has anyone found who experience bleeding like found it stops eventually? I am seeing my go in November and thinking if it hasnt stopped by then something will need to change. :(

Has anyone that had periods on this pill came off it and not had a single period since? I stopped taking this pill 5 weeks ago I had normal periods b4 stopping and now iv had nothing! I’m not pregnant so not sure why this is happening?
