mirena coil pregnancy? and other mirena symptoms

Hey,
I'm new here, first post and all (wahoo!)
I had the Mirena put in 6months ago after a MC in January, and my daughter is now 17months, no more pregnancies for me for a while! As soon as I got it I was very irritated down below and keep having bouts of thrush, about once a month! And uncomfy when I wee, that soon clears up with meds. I have the same partner still. Recently I've been getting sick without any warning, and constantly exhausted ?! Breasts are so sore, I can't sleep without a bra let alone have my OH touch them! Is this normal? I'm not due my period for 2 and a half weeks still, I'm having the coil out next week (can't wait) hope all the problems go away! Anyone else had the same problems? Thank you in advance ladies xx

I did have problems which I associated with the mirena...not really sure as it turned out that I had a fibroid, and some of the problems have persisted since my operation to have that removed. I don't think they will remove your coil if there is any chance you are pregnant. It's unlikely but you should tell them about your symptoms. Its difficult because Mirena can make periods absent or erratic. Hope it goes OK.

they would attempt to remove the mirena if you are pregnant as the hormones in the coil would harm the growing baby. I do get sore nipples with mirena but dont have regular periods so couldnt say when one was ever due.

Because of this, your healthcare provider may try to remove Mirena, even though removing it may cause a miscarriage. If Mirena cannot be removed, talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of continuing the pregnancy.

Thanks ladies, I'm just being paranoid I think, maybe just need a long baby free snooze day?? Hoping it all goes okay with my removal on the 8th, thank you xx
