how long for periods to return after removal of mirena coil???

hi i had my mirena coil removed 5 weeks ago, as far as i was led to believe your periods would return within a few days/ a week, i haven't had any spotting or any signs of a period yet the pregnancy test came back negative :(
if anyone can offer any enlightenment on this i would be most grateful

I took about 6 weeks before bleeding. Then 1 full cycle then pg next cycle. Hth x

thanks itwasthepenguins its just that i had been told my friends came pretty much straight away so i was starting to get a bit concerned but its good to know someone else had to wait a while too lol x
