You know the IMPLANT thing... do you need to have had a period before getting it put in?

DC3 is 8m and 99% certainly our last baby

DP said the other day "Maybe I should just have the snip". I almost fainted. He's always been about this option but I must confess I wibbled a bit at the finality of it

(I did reassure him that to conceive we would need to be having regular sex...)

no... had Mirena fitted when dd was bf and no af .. stll bleed on and off for 3-4 weeks but nothing since :)

CAzzy is the Mirena a coil or an arm implant thing?

Not sure. You have to be certain you aren't pregnant. My Doctor was reluctant to do mine because I booked it for 2 weeks after my period. I reassured her there was no way I was pregnant as DD was 11mo, I was working and knackered :o
Maybe they could do a test to be sure.

Mirena - mine just said to ensure I wasn't pregnant - ie use condoms
