What are the chances of ovulation while your are at the end of your period while bf. Last night while having sex dp pulled out afterwords to discover the condom was gone . I had to reach up inside to pull it out(this has never happened before BTW. I was wondering what are the chances of me ovulating this is my first period BTW since dd was born so I am unsure when I will likely ovulate.

It wont be a disaster we were going to start ttc in a year it would just not be great timing but not the end of the world. Thanks the chances are small but not impossible I will start counting then and see what happens. I think I need a new contraceptive.

Probably small. But unless you monitor your temperature and cervical fluid on a daily basis it's difficult to get a real idea of pregnancy risk. Some people ovulate earlier in the cycle than others (i.e. not everyone ovulates on day 14) so I don't think you can rule it out.

Shall update I came on a week early and had a major bad period but thanks for the further advice .
