Brownies / rainbows waiting lists London

A friend of mine mentioned the other day that the waiting lists for these things are horrendous...

Could someone tell me how I find out whether there are clubs are in central London, and how we get ourselves onto the lists?

Thanks!

Thanks TBE; what's the website? Sadly don't have time to volunteer...

I run a Brownie pack in London. We have more girls on the waiting list than we have spaces in the pack - estimated waiting time for those at the bottom of the list is 3+ years. Many other Brownie packs are in the same boat.

If you're keen for your daughter to join, please think hard about whether you could volunteer. You don't have to train to be a leader. You don't have to commit to come every week. But across the country there are 50,000 girls waiting to join Brownies and Guides and we can't start new units or expand the ones we have without some new volunteers. Could you spare 12 hours over a year?
