any dcs complain of back pain after trampolining?

we got a trampoline a couple of weeks ago - and both dds are complaining that their backs hurt. I suspect that the pain is really not that bad tbh - I don't think either of them has actually pulled anything or done an "injury" as such, however I don't think they're making it up - one in particular never whinges or makes up pain (t'other does, so maybe she's coming out in "sympathy" ) They are both keen gymnasts (do 6 hours a week) and I am a bit wary about aggravating anything. so we've decided no gymnastics or trampolining this week - the idea being they should rest and let any muscle strain repair. anyone else had experience of this? might it be something in particular that's caused it? will resting it work? or will we just end up in the same situation once they go back on the trampoline?

I'm nor sure about whether resting will help, I think probably yes, but I do know that whenever I get on our trampoline, every time I land I can feel my spine compressing. I'm sure this can't be good for you!

And no knee drops - they are really bad for the spine.
