Need help to buy a 1/2 size guitar for ds -any ideas as to which one??

He is very keen and has a 'toy' guitar that is tunable.

It does not stay in tune for any length of time and I would like to buy him an entry level one but don't know which is a good make to start with. -I love yamaha and had 1 when I was teacher training but can't find a 1/2 size one.

Any recommendations??

DS1 had one from Argos, can't remember how much but I think his teacher thought it was OK.

a couple of reviews on amazon complain about the guitars not staying in tune.

I think so, but as I don't have a musical bone in my body I can't say I noticed!

OTOH, DH is very musical and thought it was OK.
