Brownie badges

dd was enrolled this week - where do you put the badges (pack , six etc). Do we need to buy a sash ?

I sewed dd's badges on to her sash, (she had two sashes in the end, and they were both full.
After she progressed to guides, she wanted them transfered to her camp blanket.
My SIL, sewed my neices (swimming) badges onto a home made (slightly medieval looking) pennant, which she hung in her bedroom as a decoration ... that also looked good.
