Daisy and Dukes or TTA rep

Any advice on experience with Daisy and Dukes and TTA children's agency?
My 8 year old has been offered representation by Daisy and Dukes and an audition at TTA. She has a passion for acting and musical theatre. It would be great to get thoughts from parents with children represented by both and number of self tapes they receive, environment, opportunities for progression such as workshops etc any tips, much appreciated!

We had 6 months with Daisy and Dukes a few years ago. We didn't get one tape or any contact in the whole 6 months and yet, when I emailed to say we were moving, there were suddenly 3 tapes on that day 🤣 Other people have had great experiences with them though. And I think that Michelle who runs it has a very good reputation in the industry.

Within 3 months of leaving my daughter had booked 2 jobs so I don't think there was any issue with her headshots/talent etc but I just think her face didn't fit in a massive agency.

I don't have any experience of TTA. Good luck with your decision.

Both good agencies in terms of connections and reputations. I would suggest talking to both to get an idea of the personalities involved and how they connect with you. TTA have kids doing brilliantly in stage work but are known for being rather blunt, so I think that will suit some and not others. I don’t know as many with D&D, but those I do know haven’t said anything negative that would give me cause for concern.

Provided your DD is a good height for MT (since that’s the thing you can’t control at all!) then I think you’re in a great position for her moving forward.

Have sent you a DM.

@WhamBhamThankYouMham's experience tallies with what I have heard from a number of former clients.

@CatatonicLadybug 'blunt' is definitely one word for it! 😂I know a LOT of former unhappy but very successful clients who are now happy and very successful elsewhere.
