Daytime or not late discos for former clubbers who still need to dance

Has anyone been to any that they would recommend pls? Very much in need of a dance. Ideally it would be like Annie Mac’s Before Midnight but she only has 1 date this year that we can’t make. We are all newly 50 and like electronic music best but shaking our asses is the most important thing.

Where about are you? There’s an afternoon clubbing event that runs quite often in Liverpool that I could find the name of if it’s near enough

vicky McClure and John McClure (no relation to each other!) - run Day fever. It’s a national thing. Starts about 2pm finishes at 7pm

Invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool? I have friends who have been and loved it.

Read about this and I think it's brilliant cos I never go out at night anymore.

I'd love a bit of disco dancing on a weekend afternoon 😊

Sadly, nowhere near where I am.

Studio38 and Over30s Dayclub (as well as Vicki McClures Day Rave) run regular events (London ones sell out quick) but its not really our sort of music, not electronic/house enough.

Spring/Summer there tend to be more daytime outdoor events often with DJs in parks or beaches - depends where you are in the country but Brighton has a series of events and many of the London parks.

A few of the London clubs/music venues have slowly started holding the odd daytime club event - often bank holidays. Sometimes they're 3pm-4am so you can start and end early if you want. They do tend to sell out quick.

Keep an eye out on residentadviser for tickets, its just a case of searching.

Sorry I thought Day Rave was the wrong name, meant Day Fever!
