Full size case for 3/4 size violin? Your opinions?

Dear parents could you please give opinions:

my daughter is on 3/4 size violin and wants a carbon fibre Bam 2000XL Hightech which is quite expensive and only have full size. Now, I wonder if it is safe to use it for 3/4 size with putting some sort of
“ cushion” to fill the gap? Please give us some advices before we go for it. THANKS

We looked into this for my daughter and talked about whether it was possible with Stringers. We were looking at the Gewa cases rather than Bam. Stringers thought that it might be fine but in the end my DD moved to a full size violin so the problem was dealt with that way. Maybe call Stringers and ask for advice / experience?

I've done this with cello cases ... foam padding, carefully cut.

Yes we did this for a while, use foam and dusters to cushion the instrument and it's fine
