starting a music teaching company

Does anyone here run a music teaching company?
I can recruit far more pupils than I can possibly teach, and wondered how I would go about having other teachers working for me under my name?
I know these exist, but I don't know how it all works.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I would set up a limited company and book the teachers as you need them (I do this but not in music). Take a cut out of what you are charging the pupils, to cover the admin, make sure you have proper insurance and fair contracts for the teachers, get them DBS checked/referenced. Good luck!

This is a different point of view but I have piano lessons from a company which started as a single person who then took on other teachers. My teacher is not the primary teacher so few things from the customer side: Think about how you are going to monitor the standard of teaching (and what your strategy is if it doesn't meet expectations) particularly if the parents of children learning do not know what 'good' looks like. Don't underestimate the administrative burden, you may want to manage all the communications and if teacher or student is ill/late those are messages that need passing quickly (and you then need to track them through to invoicing). Finally think about how you will ensure that people learning from the other teachers do not feel a secondary part of the school compared to you own students (the lead teacher at the school we use occasionally shares only their own students successes on Facebook/has better pianos in the room they teach in. It doesn't bother me but it might some)

Absolutely! Don't underestimate the admin.
