Hello, could I please get your advices. My daughter needs to change violin to 3/4 size. I used to get most of our instruments and stuffs from Stringer London but honestly, I am not impressed with them anymore. Could anyone could advices us other violin shop to visit in London and Its great if we can get your recommendations for violin as well. Our budget is £2000( she is using Jay haide 1/2 size and about to take grade 7 next year.)
Thank you!!!

Some of my daughters school friends have purchased from Kensington Chimes.
Like you I went to Stringers and have been both delighted and extremely annoyed by the service in there. I've never been served by the same person twice. It really is hit and miss. Last time I went I had to brace myself before I entered and was so surprised as the staff member couldn't have been lovelier, but there are some horrors working there too!

For both Guivier and Bridgewood do make sure you call in advance to book a slot so that you can have a room to try out lots of violins and bows.

Thank you very much for your recommendation. Bridgewood seems to have quite lots of options to choose in our limited budget. Guivier is very close and convenient for us. I will definitely have a look at both of shops.
thank you and have a nice weekend

@MaiQuynhVy not London, but Woodbridge Violins in Suffolk is well worth the journey. Very helpful and will show you a variety in your price range. They p/ex when you need the next size up too.
