NYT Drama Club Age 11-14: Play in a Week

Any experience of the National Youth Theatre Drama Club for ages 11-14? They’re putting on a Play in a Week during half term in London. Is it worthwhile? Or will only the most talented/extrovert/ favourites get to shine and the others be made to feel they’re just “also rans”, however much experience and dedication they have?

I don't know about the play in a week course but my daughter has done the summer and Saturday NYT courses and absolutely loves them. She has got so much out of them and said that everyone is really supportive and interested in working together. It's been a great experience for her.

The audition deadline for this year’s NYT productions is 21st March 2024, but most of the courses are not auditioned.
