How long does it take to receive Duke of Edinburgh certificate?

My ds completed his bronze d of e paperwork last September and I’m just wondering when we should expect to receive the certificate. It was done through school so I will ask them but don’t want to chase if I am expecting it too early.

It's taking absolutely ages for certificates to come through at the moment, but that does seem a very long time. It's possible the coordinator waits for a few to complete then submits them as a batch. It could also be that they will present everyone's certificates at the same time once most of them have completed (that's what we do, but we tell the kids so that they know what's going on).
Do you know if anyone else in the cohort has got their certificate ? Either way, there's no harm in your DS emailing / speaking to the coordinator to ask.

I don’t know if anyone else has got theirs but this is a group of around 90 so maybe you are right and they will give them all out together when they have all been received.

IME months or up to a year.
