Fees for West End MT? Anyone know?

DD has auditioned for West End MT and been offered a place. The website is very coy about the cost, indicating that it's great 'value' but that the actual price will be sent once you have secured a place. I'm very worried we won't be able to afford it. It's five hours of teaching on a Sunday in London. <gulp> DD applied for the audition herself and won't realise that the rule on fees for an organisation so opaque is 'if you have to ask, you can't afford it'.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this group? I suppose we will find out soon but I'd like to get my head round it first as if we have to tell DD she can't do it, she will be very, very disappointed. 😞

I assume you mean west end kids.
If you go to the FAQ section of the website it does list the costs of the different sections troupe is £31 to £40 per session, associates is around £11 per hour.

I don't think it is West End Kids, but a different one. I've had a look on their website and can't find out anything about fees either...

Hello - thanks for replies. I now have the rates from the organisation and for anyone searching in future it's £690 per term (that is for a four or five hour session once a week, I think). That price is correct as of June '23 for future ref.

I have no idea why they are so secretive about it - I assume most people are like me and like to see the cost up front to avoid wasting anyone's time but maybe not!

You need to check how many are in the groups to see if it’s worthwhile

Wow @Fretfulagain - maybe this is a north/south thing but that seems a fortune to me! We do two stage schools - one is 380 a term and one is 50 a month (with a 50% sibling discount on top). Extra rehearsals for shows etc included. Working with west end professionals etc.

I don't think I can afford London 😂

More importantly, a huge well done to her! If she's the right age, I'd thoroughly recommend courses with NYMT, and their summer shows. Though the shows are expensive because of the residential rehearsals.

Hi @Fretfulagain just checking what your DD's experience was like with West end MT? My daughter is interested but £720 per term is a lot of money to commit! Thanks.
