Has any parents introduced their children to cooking club activities? If so are they beneficial?

When DD was at primary school we had a cooking club as a bookable after school activity, it was a Kiddycook franchise run by a parent at the school. It's one of the only activities DD has really enjoyed and there was actually a waiting list to join, it was very popular!

DD did a cooking club at pre school age (3 ish). She enjoyed it but I don’t know if I’d say it was beneficial exactly other than enjoyment! Maybe it helps fussy eaters?

Our junior school has a cooking club as one of its after school clubs run by a local cooking club. It' really popular and you can only book for half a term to give everyone chance to take part.
