Trumpet teacher recommendations - Kingston/Surrey

Hello - my dc plays the trumpet and we are possibly looking for a new teacher - currently grade 4ish level. DC would like someone energetic and passionate and I would like someone who is good at teaching the technical side.

Is there a uni with music department or a Conservatoire nearby? You might get an upper level student? Or look at who teaches at the private schools nearby, it will often be freelance or permanent orchestral musicians so a high standard. Or ask in a local music shop?

Would Carshalton work for you? They are a lovely husband and wife trumpet team, good at making it fun and teaching in a way which children can understand.
