We’re often distracted in life - revisiting the past and worrying about the future.
The last couple of years have been particularly difficult for parents of young children, juggling work and home responsibilities, as well as home schooling. Playing and having fun with children has sometimes taken a backseat.
So if you’re looking for mindful and fun activities you can do with your child to help improve their English, enrol on the WEA’s taster session Supporting your child’s English through mindfulness (C2228550).
Mindfulness helps us to bring our attention to the present moment and teaches us how to intervene skilfully when we experience difficulties in our lives.
This taster aims to help parents and carers with ideas for mindful, relaxing and fun activities they can do with their child, to support their language and vocabulary through play and games. Thursday 9 December 1pm to 2.30.
