I'm a non-sailing parent of a DC who sails.

what the bloody hell is everyone doing with drying kit in winter months, that long hot summer spoiled me!

Goes for a rinse and spin in the washing machine, then straight in the airing cupboard. Most will dry overnight this way- although boots not quite so DS has 2 pairs.

Much talk amongst our RTG about how to replicate this in a hotel room without baking yourself with a dri-buddy 😂
