Piano book for G1-2 level

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations for a book of grade 1-2 level pieces that we can work through with my 8yo.

Don't want piano adventure series, or any series really, just a book of pieces to work through that get progressively more difficult, is there such a thing?. Have teacher who provides sheet music every couple of weeks but would like a book to go through at home in the meantime. Thank you

Hours with masters are great, we have the old versions from my mum but they're still in print I think. Also time pieces if they do piano, we've had them for woodwind. Nice selection going through the ages.

Classics to Moderns are good as well - I think Book 1 is Grade 1-2 level.

And I agree with Hours with the Masters - I think Book 1 is the same level.

My kids have enjoyed the Wedgewood "Upgrade" books for something more jazzy and fun. At this time of year maybe get a Christmas one? If it's for light relief I'd probably drop down a difficulty level so 0-1 rather than 1-2 (or maybe you already did). Lovely that she has the enthusiasm to do extra!
